Our Vision

To that end, we offer support groups, wellness programs, personal services, events, and networking to help survivors feel connected and secure in a community that truly cares. Our inclusive community is diverse, welcoming all ages, stages of life, and belief systems without question.

July is

Sarcoma Awareness Month

July is Sarcoma Awareness Month — a time to shine a light on this rare and often overlooked group of cancers. Sarcoma can affect bones and soft tissues, and early detection is key. This month, let’s raise awareness, support those affected, and emphasize the importance of research, education, and regular checkups. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against sarcoma.

1 %
Sarcomas account for about 1% of all adult cancers.
15 %
In children, sarcomas are more common, making up about 15% of all childhood cancers.
13590
13,590 new cases of soft tissue sarcomas will be diagnosed in 2025.
3970
3,970 new cases of bone sarcomas will be diagnosed.

We care
with compassion

Feelings of isolation after a cancer diagnosis are common, but giving in to those feelings can keep the body from generating the healing energy it needs. In Friends After Diagnosis, survivors help each other, and it’s become an essential part of the cancer care community on the Treasure Coast.
