Friends After Diagnosis

Our Mission

Friends After Diagnosis is a 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of women diagnosed with cancer. It is our hope and vision to see that all women diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones have lives filled with wisdom, wellness, fellowship, and peace.

Our Vision

To that end, we offer support groups, wellness programs, personal services, events, and networking to help survivors feel connected and secure in a community that truly cares. Our inclusive community is diverse, welcoming all ages, stages of life, and belief systems without question.

September is

Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to raising awareness about this often-overlooked disease. Early detection is crucial, as symptoms are subtle and can be mistaken for other conditions. By spreading knowledge and supporting research, we can help save lives and empower women to take control of their health.

We care
with compassion

Feelings of isolation after a cancer diagnosis are common, but giving in to those feelings can keep the body from generating the healing energy it needs. In Friends After Diagnosis, survivors help each other, and it’s become an essential part of the cancer care community on the Treasure Coast.
