Friends After Diagnosis

Our Mission

Friends After Diagnosis is a 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of women diagnosed with cancer. It is our hope and vision to see that all women diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones have lives filled with wisdom, wellness, fellowship, and peace.

Our Vision

To that end, we offer support groups, wellness programs, personal services, events, and networking to help survivors feel connected and secure in a community that truly cares. Our inclusive community is diverse, welcoming all ages, stages of life, and belief systems without question.

May is

Cancer Awareness Month

May is Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about cancer prevention, detection, and treatment. Throughout the month, various organizations and communities worldwide come together to educate the public about the importance of early detection, support those affected by cancer, and advocate for continued research efforts to find better treatments and ultimately a cure. It’s a month to unite in the fight against cancer and to honor those who have been impacted by the disease.

We care
with compassion

Feelings of isolation after a cancer diagnosis are common, but giving in to those feelings can keep the body from generating the healing energy it needs. In Friends After Diagnosis, survivors help each other, and it’s become an essential part of the cancer care community on the Treasure Coast.
